Week Four Preview

This weeks marque matchup has to be Adirondack at Mt. Markham. If the Mustangs are able to get the win they will surely have an inside track on the division title. Luke Phillips continues to impress, over 200 yards and three touchdowns last week in their third straight 34 point performance.
Another intersting matchup has to be Auburn at RFA, a rematch of the Section III title game from last season. Let us know your thoughts on that.
In Class A, New Hartford hits the road in search of win number one. They really almost need to win out to make the playoffs at this point. Whitesboro hosts Oneida, but the big story is the 3-0 Camden Blue Devils who host Nottingham. Aaron Fiorini has done a wonderful job with this program and I for one would not want to play them...give us your thoughts on that.
Class D, Frankfort puts its glossy 3-0 record on line against 0-3 Hamilton. Oriskany is also 3-0, they will go under the lights at West Canada on Friday. Over the weekend, Westmoreland hosts South Lewis, but the big matchup of the day is at Cazenovia as the Lakers host perhaps their only test of the season in unbeaten Holland Patent. Do the Knights have a chance against this seemingly unbeatable team? Give us your thoughts on these and other games perhaps we didn't mention. See you on TV!

Hello! Any Notre Dame fans out there? I think they look decent this year considering they lost 21 seniors, which is huge for such a small school

Mount Markham survives almost a huge chokejob. Leading 34-7, Adirondack score 3 straight TD's to get to 34-28. Phillips rushes for another TD, but then Adirondack marches down the field and scores another TD to get it to 41-35. Adirondack tries an onside kick but MM recovers to end the game. Phillips ran wild on them with a school record 348 yards on 19 carries with 5 TD's, but their defense quit on them in the 4th and almost blew the game.

I want to say what an awesome game Mt. Markham and Adirondack had last night. Both teams were great. I also wanted to say how proud I was to be standing on the side lines when Adirondack came off the field and all the Mt. Markham fans cheered for them and told them they had a great game. The looks on the Adirondack boys faces was pure astonishment when they realized that they were the ones receiving the cheers. Its the great sportsmanship like that was shown last night that makes these games great for the kids and adults as well. Great job Mt. Markham fans and players.

I just want to say how proud I am of the Holland Patent boys this weekend against Caz. These boys played their hearts out and gave Caz a real run for their money. They scored 2 touchdowns on a starting defense that has not allowed a touchdown in 14 games. Way to go boyz. Way to fight and do your best to give them a run....With any luck maybe HP will get a second chance in the playoffs to meet up with them again! GO HP! Great Job! Keep your heads up high!
