Four of the five section finals had area football teams playing for titles, and all four won!.

In Class A, the only local/local battle, New Hartford held off Camden 42-35. The Spartans, who by the way, didn't I say they would be here, scored on all five of their first half possessions. A shootout it was indeed. Cudos to Camden, they pulled out every trick in the book and almost pulled off the comeback. If Aaron Fiorini isn't coach of the year I don't know who is. Although, Bob Jones should get a vote. He lost 18 seniors to graduation and still won a title. The Spartans now face Corning West on Friday at 8pm at C-NS.

In Class B. Anyone who thought Oneida WASN'T going to win a section title...shame on you. This team was built to win this game three years ago. Bill Carinci is a great guy and a great motivator. Ryan Kramer is one heck of an athlete. They won that game even without star running back Rick Rossi. That just goes to show you how good Kramer and that whole team really is. Next up for them is Waverly from Section IV. That game is Saturday, 6pm at C-NS.

In Class C, I told all who would listen at the start of the season Westmoreland was primed for their second title in three years. Glad to see they proved me right. Tim Gates and company are playing championship football and so far, are not getting too full of themselves. Now it's right back to work as they gear up for Elmira Notre Dame on Saturday, 12pm at C-NS.

Finally in Class D, all I can say is WOW! What a finish to the Dolgeville game. Believe it or not, I like Chris Connolly's call for two with two minutes to go. His philosophy has always been not to put the all the emphasis on one kid for one point. So it was win or lose...AS A TEAM. It was gutsy and now a thing of the past. The onside kick recovery and subsequent 48 yard score by Andrew Johnston sealed the deal for Dolgeville. It's their first title since 2002 and coach Connolly's first as a head coach. I don't think I'm speaking out of turn when I say the town has been, shall we say, critical of coach over the years. Maybe now they can embrace him as he now has a title to call his own. They now move on to face the top ranked team in the state in Walton. That game is Friday at 5pm at C-NS.

What are your thoughts on these games. Leave a post, love to see what you have to say!

Finals Are Here!

I was telling anyone that would listen that New Hartford would be back in the section final. For once, I was right! The Spartans dominated Fulton to advance back to the Class A final for the second straight year. They will have their hands full again this year. Camden is just plain awesome. DJ Forbragd is one of the best players I've seen at his position. He runs that offense like a well oiled machine. He sliced up a Whitesboro defense and made it look like swiss cheese. I can't remember when I've seen that before. New Hartford is pretty great too. As long as Joe Carcone and Mike Doyle are out there, this is anyone's game. Hey, I know it takes all 11 guys. However, if you take you best players off the field, it changes the tone.

In Class B, Oneida once again rolling over the competition. They will get Westhill. No word yet on starting running back Rick Rossi. He's an integral part of the offense but I think then Indians can win with or without him. Westhill did not impress me. The Golden Knights of Holland Patent certainly could have and should have won that game on Saturday.

In Class C, again I've said all season Westmoreland "is" that good and will play for a Class C title. In fact they are the only team in the state that can beat Bishop Ludden. They matchup better than anyone else. As long as they play mistake free ball, create turnovers and keep doing what they are doing, they will win their second title in three years.

As for Class D, cudos to Dolgeville. They got the Onondaga monkey off their back thanks to a beautiful performance by Clay Ardoin on the offense and wicked performance by the enitre defense. The Blue Devils next clash with Watertown IHC. The Cavs are VERY beatable and can be scored upon. They have not seen a defense like Dolgeville's nor have they seen a running back like Clay Ardoin. Look for Chris Connolly to get his first title as a head coach. He deserves it!!!!!!!

Hey I know alot of you read the blog, love to see what you think of it, leave me a post. I can take it!

Section III Semis

I tell you what, doesn't matter if if it's rainning or snowing, this is as good as it gets. The section semifinals are this Friday and Saturday and we, as an area, have an awesome chance to have a team in every section title game at the dome next week.

First off, how about RFA. They shook off a tough loss to Henninger in the final week of the regular season to beat CBA in overtime. I don't know about you, but whenever ANYONE from our area beat CBA, it's a great day! For years the Brothers dominated. Now they are once again watching from home. RFA has a chance at redemtion. The should have won the Henninger game, now they get another crack at the Black Knights this Saturday.

In Class A, what did I tell you about New Hartford? Joe Carcone and company are for real. Mike Doyle is a great field general. Bob Jones lost 18 seniors and right now they are a win away from going BACK to the section final. Camden also advanced as expected. I must admit, I underestimated Whitesboro. They have not played great football down the stretch. They showed me something against Cortland. No matter what happens in their matchup with the Blue Devils, we will have at least one local team in the Class A final.

In Class B, wouldn't it be something to see Oneida vs. Holland Patent for a section title? We all like to think it can happen. Knights face Westhill and Oneida gets Chittenango. The bears are the only league team to give the Indians any headaches. Area fans can only hope we shutout the Syracuse teams in Class B as well.

In Class C, we have another chance to a local team in the final. Unbeaten Westmoreland will face Herkimer on Friday night. It's a rematch of week five. Bulldogs won that one 26-6 at Herkimer. Look for both teams to throw in the kitchen sink on this one.

In Class D, was anyone surprised to see Dolgeville here again. They lose 26 seniors to graduation. Most teams would be rebuilding, they reloaded. They get a crack at Onondaga on Saturday. It was the Tigers beating the Blue Devils for the D title last season. Can you say revenge? Notre Dame is not done by any means. They have the tough assignment of beating unbeaten IHC.

Don't forget to check out our playoff brackets on our website http://www.wktv.com/.
See you Friday night on Sports Express.

Playoffs Are Here!

So you say there's a chance....yea there is. Every team is 0-0 and if you lose you are done.
So what are our locals chances..I would say pretty good. In Class AA, I feel the RFA Black Knights have as good a chance as anyone in that league to win the section title. I know everyone is all about one game at a time. I like the big picture, and hey, I can do that as a sportscaster. The "X" factor in Rome is Mike Davis. He lives and breathes football. His knowledge is vast and he will out work and out prepare is oppponents. His players will run through walls for him. They get it, and can win it.

In Class A, no disrespect to Camden by this next one, but I feel the team to watch for is New Hartford. Once again they get the low seed. Their two losses this season have been by a mere point! OK so there are those of you that feel I'm too close because of Don Edick. Not true, if anything I'm more non-bias because of our friendship. Look, the best running back in the Mohawk Valley has to be Joe Carcone, although Scott Dunlap is 1A. Different league though and I digress. If the Spartans can play up to their potential, and since their loss to Whitesboro, a game they never should have lost, then I see them right back in the Class A Final.

Class B, ok. It's Oneida, Oneida, Oneida, at least in section three. The Indians have pretty much taken teams out to the wood shed, except of course for Chittenango. However, good teams beat the teams they are supposed to beat, whether its by a point or 30 points. The Indians are the best team in Class B, but they can't live by my words, they have to prove it in the playoffs.

In Class C, I'm tooting my own horn cause after all, If I don't who will right? I've been saying for weeks Westmoreland would be the team to beat Cazenovia. The Bulldogs played an excellent second half to get the job done. However, that was regular season. Now they have to bring it hard the rest of the way. Herkimer keeps hanging around like a bad penny. In this case, its a silver dollar (for those that remember what those were like). Alan Steele, Tim Zaleski and Jerry Walczak make a nice trio. If the players can execute and limit mistakes, they could make a run. The there is Adirondack. Talk about scary. No one is stopping Scott Dunlap and company. Every week has been a playoff for the Wildcats so this week will be no different.

Class D. I think we all learned a valuable lesson this past week. DON'T EVER BET AGAINST DOLGEVILLE IN A BIG GAME! I never have, and never will. Sorry Mohawk Valley, too much karma. If Notre Dame is going to make any noise in sectionals, they better study that film til their eyes hurt. I wouldn't bet against Dolgeville vs. IHC in the dome, but I'm not a betting man, I'm just sayin...

Hey check out the football brackets on our website:

http://www.wktv.com/sports/highschool/football/31239764.html

Enjoy the playoffs!

The Final Week Of The Regular Season

Well, I do apologize for not updating the blog. I'm back and ready for this weeks showdowns.

In Class AA, Henninger and RFA meet in Rome with a league title on the line. The home Knights look sharp with Kyle Kimball leading the running attack and stingey defense. Mike Davis will have his team ready.

In Class A, huge game in Camden on Friday as the Blue Devils have a chance to win the league outright if they can beat Whitesboro. The Warriors lost to Carthage last week. Carthage lost to Camden two weeks ago. A Blue Devils win would give them the league since they already beat the Comets.

In the Class B East, Oneida has already won the league. However, Holland Patent is looking to secure a home playoff game. They face VVS and a win for the Golden Knights just might get them that home game next week.

In the Class C East....it all comes down to one game. If Herkimer can beat winless Sauquoit, they will win the league outright. If they lose, then it's a mess. It will likely come down to first half points throughout the season to determine a league champ. Remember only the top two teams in the Division will make the post season.
In the Class C South...what a game this weekend. 6-0 Westmoreland vs. 6-0 Cazenovia. If anyone can beat Caz its the Bulldogs. They have the most complete package, running, passing and defense. Tim Gates is likely the most underrated coach in the area. They have the potential to not only beat Caz, but win the Section.

Class D East...talk about a huge game! Notre Dame hosting Dolgeville. Both teams are 6-0. Both teams have great running attacks. The Jugglers have DiPerna and Putnam. The Blue Devils have Ardoin and Johnston. Both QB's are solid in Caden Romeo and Zack Goyette. Both defenses are tough. Wow, glad I'm not picking a winner, but I do think it will come down to the last two minutes of the game.

Ok, here's your new blog....HOW ABOUT SOME COMMENTS PEOPLE!

Looking at Week 4

No star-studded matchups this week, but intriguing games are out there.
Cooperstown puts their unbeaten record on the line against Mt.Markham. It's technically a non-league game for both teams. Question is will the Mustangs be able to slow down the Redskins running attack.
Another interesting game has to be Frankfort at Ilion. The Bombers, without their top running back, faltered in week three. Frankfort also struggled in a loss to Herkimer. Both need to get back on the winning track if they want to make the post season. Does anyone think that a team with three losses can make the post season in the Class C East? I don't. What are your thoughts?
In Class AA, RFA hits the road for winless Auburn while winless Proctor hosts state champ West Genny.
In Class A, Whitesboro rides the wave to Binghamton in their final non-league game of the season while New Hartford tries to get back on the winning track hosting Watertown. I'm still scratching my head over the game between the Spartans and Warriors. It was New Hartford's game to lose, and they did. Question is...can they bounce back? They did it last year, do they have enough talent to do it again this season?
In Class D, Dolgeville and Waterville meet on Friday night. It's really a must win for the Indians who after a promising week one faltered the last two games including a 20 point loss to Notre Dame. Dolgeville seems to be getting stronger each week. I think Notre Dame and Oriskany could be fun to watch. I think the Redskins can bounce back after an embarassing loss to Dolgeville. However, if Notre Dame stays on track, could be a long rainy afternoon in Oriskany.
Cudos to Matt Dziekan for breaking a state record for interceptions with five in the win over West Canada. The Indians have a rare night game this week. Its home coming against Mohawk.
Class B, Oneida is the team to beat. Holland Patent was shelled last week. The Golden Knights need to regroup. This week is a non-league week for HP as they face Norwich.
What are your thoughts?

Week Two meets Week Three

With week two behind us, lets look back while looking ahead to the all important week three. First up RFA played a tough game against Proctor. The Raiders are a couple of mistakes away from being 1-1. This was a good test for Rome as they prepare for league play this week.
In Class A, Whitesboro and Camden each got in the win column while New Hartford suffered their first loss. The big Class A matchup this week is New Hartford at Whitesboro. Still to early to say whether or not Mike Doyle will play. It will likely be a midweek decision. Let us know what you think. Can the Spartans win with or without him?

Class B, Oneida has now put up 97 points in two games, they now tackle Holland Patent. The Golden Knights scored a seven point win over Skaneateles over the weekend.

Class C, Cooperstown, Frankfort and Westmoreland are all still unbeaten. Herkimer got a nice come from behind win over Adirondack.

Class D, Dolgeville rolled over Richfield Springs and Notre Dame trounced West Canada. Could those two schools be headed for a collison course.

I want to see your thoughts. Blog along with us on the road to the dome!

What have we learned?

So with week one in the books what have we learned? Well. first off, RFA is good. They can run, throw and play defense. Don't get me wrong, there is room for improvement. Mike Davis will be the first to say that. But, they did a great job at slowing down Whitesboro's running attack and they got big plays when they needed them. They should be tough against Proctor who managed just one touchdown in a week on loss to Corcoran. That game is Friday night at 7pm at D'Alessandro Stadium.

In Class A, Whitesboro and Camden have some work to do this week. Not alot, but they turned the ball over too many times in their losses to RFA and New Harftord respectively. The Warriors travel to Watertown while Camden takes on Fowler at Corcoran. Both games are at 7pm.

Class B, Oneida looked unstopable in their win over Ithaca on Sunday at the Dome. They have their home opener against Westhill on Friday at 7pm. Holland Patent is coming off a dissapointing opening day loss to Marcellus. They host Skaneateles on Saturday at 2pm. VVS had a nice opening day win over Phoenix. They will clash with Marcellus at VVS Saturday at 2pm.

Class C, where do I start? Week one winners were Cooperstown, Ilion, Frankfort, Little Falls, and Westmoreland. Four of the five that won will face each other in week two. Cooperstown hosts Ilion on Saturday at 2pm while Frankfort hosts Little Falls Friday night at 7pm. Herkimer and Adirondack clash Friday night...that's a huge game as no one can afford to start the season 0-2 in the Class C East.

Finally in Class D, Dolgeville came back to beat Mohawk in an old fashioned smash mouth football game. Next up for the Blue Devils is Richfield who had problems with Oriskany. Watch out for the Redskins. New head coach Dave Allen has his team looking pretty good to start the season. Mohawk has to deal with Waterville who has gone back to running the ball and running it well with Mitch Clapp getting the work load. Notre Dame looked impressive in their win over NY Mills, however they lost Tom Giglio for the season with a broken leg. The Jugglers face West Canada who lost to Waterville last Friday.

Those are my nuggets for this week. Any comments? Did I miss something that you want to chime in on? The 2008 season is upon us and is it ever going to be a crazy one. Section III has made some major changes....it's called re-alignment. My collegue Brian Sandler broke it down like this:
There are 79 football teams in Section III this year.
No changes in Class AA-- but after that, it's *all* changes.
Class A has dropped from 15 teams to 13...
Class B has dropped from 16 teams to 11...
Class C is now a behemoth: gone from 3 leagues with 19 teams to 4 leagues with *27*-- that's a third of the entire section!
Class D has gone from 3 leagues with 17 to two leagues with 16, Frankfort-Schuyler the only team in the section to move *up* this year.
Now keep in mind 8 teams go to the playoffs from each class regardless of how many there are...So in Class B, 8 of 11 will make sectionals, and in Class C, it's 8 out of 27.
There are two new coaches, Dave Allen takes over in Oriskany and Bryan Shepardson is the new coach in Little Falls.
Make sure you check out our Football Preview Show on September 3rd, that's Wednesday night at 7pm on NEWSChannel 2. After the show you can see clips of the show on www.wktv.com.
I want you hear from you, the local fan this season. Lets strike up some conversation.
We have some great games to open the season. RFA hosts Whitesboro on Friday evening at 7:30. Another great game is New Hartford hosting Camden at D'Alessandro Stadium. New Hartford will play their home games away from Don Edick field as they are putting in new turf. Coach Don Edick by the way will make his pick Friday night between Whitesboro and RFA, have to tune in for that during the Live at Five NEWSHOUR.
He also says watch out for Waterville this season. They host West Canada Valley under the lights on Friday.
We have a ton of great stuff on the web this year so check it out. Lets talk football and get ready for the 2008 Sports Express!

Thank You For Blogging With Us

As the 2007 High School Football Season comes to a close, we would like to congratulate all the teams for such hard work over the season.

We would like to thank all of the schools, coaches and athletic directors for their help and support throughout our coverage.

We would like to thank the entire WKTV team for making both our on air and online coverage possible.

Finally, we would like to thank all of you, our readers. Starting in Class A, the Spartans now must beat Carthage for a section title. Earlier this season, the Comets beat New Hartford 28-14. However, both teams are improved since then. The Spartans are led by their passing attack but can run the ball quite well with Joe Carcone and a healthy Byron Abraham. The key will be the defense for the Spartans. They need to play perfect, even better than they played in the win over Whitesboro.
Mt.Markham will have their toughest test of the season as well in facing Bishop Ludden. However, they are playing some of the best defense of the season. Until someone figures out how to stop Luke Phillips and company on offense....the Mustangs will be Class C champs.
In Class D, how do you stop Onondaga? You play perfect. Dolgeville has that potential. Right now there is no team better suited to face the Tigers than Dolgeville. They have all the weapons firing on offense. Will the defense be able to keep up with Latavius Murray? You can bet they will get it their best shot. What do you think? Post your comments.

Week Two Playoff Rivalry Game Between Whitesboro and New Hartford

I am here live at RFA That is Friday night at RFA, 7pm kickoff. Whitesboro won the regular season game by three. However, the Spartans played them tough, actually lead 12-0 at the half. I think both teams are improved since week three of the season. Spartans quarterback Mike Doyle is playing some great football right now and he will be tested by the Warriors defense that hasn't allowed a point in the last two games. What do you think about this one?
In Class C, undefeated Mt.Markham faces Thousand Islands Friday night 7pm at Sauquoit. This one should be a good one. Can anyone stop Luke Phillips? If a team was to do that, they'd still have to contend with Cassale, Deming and Maxson. As long as the Mustangs play error free football, they can play their way to a section final appearance.
Staying in Class C, Adirondack looks down right scary! They ran over defending champ Westmoreland and now they have their sites set on top seed Bishop Ludden Friday at Corcoran at 8pm. Cody Hitt is showing the area he can do it all, something the folks in Boonville long knew was possible. Was anyone else shocked to see the Wildcats roll big this past weekend?
In Class D, Frankfort travels to face top ranked Onondaga Friday, 7pm at Chittenango. The Maroon Knights have their hands full trying to stop the outstanding play of Latavius Murray. However, Frankfort has some tough athletes. Their line is anchored by the Penree brothers. Along with List, Barr, Gatto and Post on offense, the Maroon Knights deserve to be there...now they have to do more that show up, they need to pull off the upset.
On Saturday, the other Class D semifinal pitts Weedsport against top seed Dolgeville. That is 2pm at Proctor. Weedsport struggled with Waterville last week and Dolgeville crushed Sandy Creek by halftime. The Blue Devils now get to play on turf. If they are fast at home on grass, imagine what they can do on that surface. Weedsport is better, but likely not good enough.
Bring it on, let me know what you think of these matchups!!!

A Rainy, Wet Playoff Opener

Tonight, the Section III Playoffs began on what turned out to be one of the messiest nights all season. There are still two teams in our area looking to complete perfect regular seasons: Mt.Markham and Frankfort. Mustangs host winless Cooperstown while Frankfort travels to Morrisville. Based on records, both teams have a great shot at remaining unbeaten. Two huge matchups this week: Camden at Whitesboro on Friday night and Notre Dame at Dolgeville on Saturday.
The Blue Devils of Camden have just one loss in the league as does Whitesboro. Key to this one is turnovers. Both teams play aggressive defense soit will be up to the offenses to play smart. As for the other Blue Devils, they are home against the Jugglers. Neither team has lost in the Class D East. However, Notre Dame has struggled the last two weeks with teams that Dolgeville has dominated. The Blue Devils have given up three points in four league games this season, an amazing stat indeed. Dolgeville is in a "smash them in the mouth, ask questions later" mode right now. Jugglers beware. Cudos to New Hartford this week. After starting the season 0-3 and almost playing themselves out of the playoffs, the Spartans riffled off three straight wins and are in the playoffs. Their road to the finals is paved with all road games, but I'll tell you what, I would not want that team in any round with the confidence they now have. Enjoy the football this week and please please let me know what you think.

Week Six Preview

Ok, we've determined this much, Mt.Markham is very good and they have a big following. Don't believe me? Read the blog entries.
A few updates: Proctor will be without Steve Brown for the rest of the season, he has a separated shoulder. Deandre Preaster is day to day with an MCL sprain, and Kelly Olney will likely play, sprained ligament in his non throwing elbow. This is all as of Monday.
As for the upcoming games....Raiders host FM on Friday and they need to play their best ball of the season.
Big matchup in Class A as Whitesboro travels to Carthage, both teams are unbeaten in the division. Frankfort puts their perfect record on the line as they host Waterville. The Maroon Knights are a force this season, don't be surpirsed if they run the regular season table.
Staying in Class D, two other teams seem to be on a date with destiny...Dolgeville and Notre Dame. Both have the potential to be undefeated in the league when they meet next week. Jugglers host Oriskany on Friday while the Blue Devils host long time rival West Canada.
If you can't get excited now, you are not a fan. These games are all crucial as teams jockey for position as the playoffs draw near.

Week Five Preview

Just three area teams left that are undefeated. Camden (4-0), Mt.Markham (4-0), and Frankfort (4-0). Blue Devils have a stiff test as they travel to Carthage, the Mustangs host Cortland and the Maroon Knights host Mohawk. All three games are on Friday night.

All three teams have great running games and play great defense, two big reasons why they are undefeated. Lets hear what you think.

Another big game on Friday is Liverpool at Proctor. The Raider handed West Genny their first loss in the division last week and showed they can win the grind it out game.

Cudos to Holland Patent on giving Cazenovia a run for their money last week. Now they have their hands full again as they host VVS this weekend.

The other match that has our eye is Herkimer at Adirondack. Markham. If the Mustangs are able to get the win they will surely have an inside track on the division title. Luke Phillips continues to impress, over 200 yards and three touchdowns last week in their third straight 34 point performance.
Another intersting matchup has to be Auburn at RFA, a rematch of the Section III title game from last season. Let us know your thoughts on that.
In Class A, New Hartford hits the road in search of win number one. They really almost need to win out to make the playoffs at this point. Whitesboro hosts Oneida, but the big story is the 3-0 Camden Blue Devils who host Nottingham. Aaron Fiorini has done a wonderful job with this program and I for one would not want to play them...give us your thoughts on that.
Class D, Frankfort puts its glossy 3-0 record on line against 0-3 Hamilton. Oriskany is also 3-0, they will go under the lights at West Canada on Friday. Over the weekend, Westmoreland hosts South Lewis, but the big matchup of the day is at Cazenovia as the Lakers host perhaps their only test of the season in unbeaten Holland Patent. Do the Knights have a chance against this seemingly unbeatable team? Give us your thoughts on these and other games perhaps we didn't mention. See you on TV!

Getting Ready For Week Three

With week two in the books, a few things have become clear. In Class AA, Proctor is for real and they are showing its not just the Deandre Preaster show. In Class A, the Spartans are in trouble, Whitesboro is mad, and Camden is on a roll. In Class B, Caz is the team to beat....unless of course Holland Patent has something to say about it. In Class C, Mt. Markham is red hot behind experience and the running of Luke Phillips. In Class D, Frankfort is 2-0 and Dolgeville got back on the winning track.

As for week three, games to keep an eye on....Class A the rivalry renewed as New Hartford (0-2) hosts Whitesboro (1-1). Two schools of thought....the Warriors are coming off a blowout win over Oswego and seem to be finding their stride while the Spartans continue to sputter on defense. That leans towards Whitesboro. However, New Hartford is against the wall. This game is a MUST win. They can't go 0-3 in the league, that would pretty much eliminate them from the playoffs. Give me your opinion on this one, it could be too close to call.

Another game to keep watch for is Mt. Markham at Herkimer. Magicians lost a non league nail-biter at the Dome over the weekend while the Mustangs rolled again, this time over Sauquoit. The keys in this one will certainly be each teams go to guys in Luke Phillips and Art Zhushma. Key for both teams, DEFENSE. Let me know what you all think.

Now if you want to talk about a different matchup, there are plenty. Drop us a note and we'll blog about it.

Week One In The Books....Here Comes Week Two

Well, Well, Well...week one presented some surprises and exciting games. Camden came through huge at home against New Hartford. RFA proved they can win in hostile territory at Whitesboro. Mt.Markham rolled in their opener against Canastota and Herkimer blanked Dolgeville. That's just to name a few. How many were surprised by these games?
Things will be interesting this week. Will the Spartans bounce back? RFA hosts Proctor, will the Black Knights be able to contain Deandre Preaster who rolled up over 200 yards of offense?
Sauquoit hosts Mt.Markham, both teams are 1-0. The there's Dolgeville, they travel to Little Falls in search of their first win against the long time rival Mounties. Can they bounce back? Let us know what you think. Marque game is RFA at Whitesboro. The Warriors have had the Black Knights number, that is until last years thrilling last minute win. But RFA had to replace 30 seniors, do they have what it takes this season?
New Hartford travels to Camden. The Spartans are looking for a little revenge after last years 29-8 loss at Don Edick field. Will they get it? Lets us know what you think.
A rivalry renewed is Waterville at Sauquoit. SV has a brand new field and lights. Should be a fun one to watch.
On Saturday, Westmoreland begins defense of their Section title as they travel to General Brown. With all the players the Bulldogs have graduated, do they have enough talent to get back to the Dome this year. We want your thoughts on these and other games.

What Does The 2007 Season Have In Store?

We are less that a week away from the beginning of the 2007 High School Football season.
